In the name of Jesus Christ, First United Methodist Church of Somerville welcomes all who desire to be part of our fellowship.  One important aspect of the Christian life is the work of the Church.   Many organizations and programs perform Christ's work and provide each member and friend an opportunity to express his or her talents in Christian service. We exist to serve all.

Sunday Worship Service 9:30 am - through Sept. 2 10:00 am - beginning Sept. 9 and throughout the year Children welcome in worship Infant care available Church School Sunday 10:00 am for children (preschool through elementary) 9:00 am for Adult & Junior/Senior High Second Sunday Sept. thru 2nd Sunday June

Church Office Hours      Wednesday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm

New Fall Schedule Adopted at Church Council! Beginning September 9, we are changing to a new schedule. Worship and Sunday School will both begin at 10:00 AM. The Adult Class and the Junior/Senior High School Class will meet at 9:00 AM, but all other classes will begin at 10 o'clock in the Sanctuary. Parents can bring their children to Sunday School and stay for worship. Sunday School teachers and students will worship with the congregation until dismissed to their classes. No more "Worship at 10:30." We are moving the regular worship hour up to 10:00 AM.
